Spotify on Debian

How to install Spotify on Debian?

zeroth step: I have tried on Debian Wheezy. (I don't any experiences with Debian Jessie)

First step: go a break :)

Second step: Open command line.

Third step: go to root. (command su)

Fourth step: write nano /etc/apt/sources.list (or use mc)

Fifth step: add repository to linux: write note (# - this is a note) spotify (for information) and in the next line you add repository: deb http://repository.spotify.com stable non-free

(I think that you know what is non-free software.)

Sixth step: You must add key from keyserver. Go to command line and write: apt-key adv --keyserver hkp://keyserver.ubuntu.com --recv-keys 94558F59

Seventh step: apt-get update

Eight step: apt-get install spotify-client (you may use && on the command. In this example: apt-get update && apt-get install spotify-client)

Ninth step: enjoy with Spotify :)

Note: You may a problem with library libssl. In this case you must download libssl0.9.8. (try repository with aptitude.) If you don't library in the repository, you must download it.

This process you may use on the Ubuntu or Linux Mint.

And now: East Slovakian version.
